Ingredients
Scale
- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your pie crust by baking it until lightly golden, about 7–10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, and salt until well combined, creating a fragrant blend.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy, then add the melted butter, vinegar, and vanilla extract; mix thoroughly until smooth.
- Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients while stirring gently for about one minute until there are no clumps.
- Carefully pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust and tap gently on the counter to release any air bubbles. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown on top and slightly jiggly in the center.
